Long views are the joy of anywhere blessed with hills from which to see them. Because of the twists and turns of Slad Valley many different views are possible, many unexpected, happened upon by accident, a place where the a fold in the ground, or a break in the trees, releases a vista. Impossible to tire of these views, which change day by day, hour by hour, with the light, the weather and the seasons.
