One of a series titled ‘Shakespeare’s Animals’, this piece was originally made for an exhibition by the Guild of Glass Engravers at the replica of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London. Inspired by what is arguably Shakespeare’s most famous stage direction, from ‘The Winter’s Tale’, it attempts to see things from the bear’s point of view.
